Module Interface

Information

For most use cases, the default settings are already well-suited, so there may not be a need to adjust the overwhelming number of available options.

Open the server management module admin page ("Addons" -> "Server Manager"), click "System Configuration" -> "Module Interface".

Admin Module Page

Expand configurable options

Enable to show the product configurable options for each server. If you disable this feature, the configurable options are collapsed by default, but you can still expand them on the Server Assignments page.

List external servers

Show external servers on the Server Assignment page. External servers are, for example, OVH servers. If you sell servers from external providers, you usually want to have this option enabled.

List virtual servers

As virtual servers are normally created after the activation of the order, this option is usually disabled. However, to cover all possible use cases, you can also list virtual servers on the Server Assignments page and assign them to products.

List virtual server products

The same description as in the previous point applies. However, this option refers to the products themselves and not to the servers.

Hide retired WHMCS products

Enable to don't show retired WHMCS products on the "Server Assignments" page.

Show product group name

Show product group name before product name on Server Assignments page. As an example, instead of "Ryzen Servers" the headline would be "USA Dedicated Servers - Ryzen Servers". This is useful when you have the same product name multiple times but in different product groups.

Show description at server listing

Show the server description on the "Server Assignments" page.

Show hardware summary at server listing

Show the server summary on the "Server Assignments" page. This feature makes it easier to determine the appropriate product assignment for the server.

The summary will look like this:

1x AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT | RAM: 64 GB | Disks: 1x 466 GB, 1x 447 GB, 2x 932 GB

Disks with the same size are grouped.

For the hardware summary to be displayed, the hardware details must be stored in Tenantos. Further information can be found on this page.

Enable pagination at server listing [EXPERIMENTAL]

Enable to paginate the assigned servers. Only recommended if managing many servers and the server assignments page is slow due to too many DOMs.

Pagination: Amount of servers per page

Enter the amount of servers per page.

Admin Client Service Page

This settings refer to the admin client service page, i.e. /admin/clientsservices.php?userid=1&id=1

Server information card

Using this setting, it is possible to configure which details should be displayed in the server information card. For instance, the "Last BW" rows can be removed.

Show IP assignments table

This option enables the display of IP assignments in Tenantos in WHMCS and provides the ability to modify the RDNS entry and IP description.

Show graphs

Disable this option to not show the network graph. Disabling this option results in a smaller page.

Network graphs: Display summary by default

When this option is selected, the statistics table is expanded to display the data for the selected period in a textual format, presenting key information such as the 95th percentile, average, and usage in GB.

Network graphs: Display 95th percentile line

Enable to show a 95th percentile line in the network graphs.

Reinstallation Mail Template

The selected mail template can be optionally sent to the client when manually reinstalling a server via the WHMCS admin area.

Reinstallation: Precheck "Send Reinstallation Mail"

Enable to precheck the "Send Reinstallation Mail" checkbox.

Reinstallation: Precheck "Resend Welcome Mail"

Enable to precheck the "Resend Welcome Mail" checkbox. This option only applies to reinstallations that are performed via the WHMCS admin area.

The option is only visible if the product has a welcome mail defined.

Reinstallation: Prefill existing service password

By default, the reinstallation and rescue forms are filled with a new randomly generated password. Enabling this feature will pre-fill the existing password. If no password information is available in WHMCS, it will fall back to a randomly generated password.

Please note that the service password may not necessarily correspond to the actual password. The customer might have changed the password or initiated a fresh installation directly in Tenantos.

SSO Login Handling

This setting allows to prevent that WHMCS admins are automatically logged-in into Tenantos. The available options are:

  • Perform SSO Login (automatic login into admin API account)
  • Only redirect to relevant server page (staff must login manually)

If the staff is already logged in to Tenantos, they will be redirected to the relevant server page. If the staff is not logged in, they must log in manually and will then be redirected to the relevant server page.

Client Area

Client Area Template

The dropdown menu allows you to choose between the available client area templates.

For more information, click here.

OS Installation Mode Preselection

Select the pre-selected OS installation mode. The options are:

  • Select "Reinstallation"
  • Select "Rescue Mode"
  • None (No profiles will be shown by default)

"None" is useful if you do not want to display the list of available operating systems by default when a client opens the service management page.

Disable SSO

If you do not want your clients to be able to log in to Tenantos via WHMCS using the SSO login button, enable this option. This will hide the button in the client area and also when manually calling the SSO URL, the request will be blocked.
