Invalid SSL Certificate

Symptoms

After Tenantos has been installed, the browser shows a warning that the connection is not secure.

Possible causes

Typically, the Let's Encrypt domain verification has failed. In such a case, a self-signed SSL certificate is installed as a fallback.

Solution

• Review the logs in the file /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log.
• Once you assume that the domain can be successfully verified, run the upcp command on the Tenantos server.

The upcp command does not only install updates but also does check all configurations and try to reissue a Let's Encrypt certificate, if none is available.
